Classroom of the Elite Season 4 Episode 13 – Ichika Amasawa Revealed as White Room Student?

Spoiler Alert: This article contains full spoilers for Classroom of the Elite Season 4 Episode 13.

Episode 13 opens with Kiyotaka Ayanokōji and Tsubasa Nanase talking after the previous events, where Ayanokōji directly asks her about the White Room and whether Acting Chairman Tokinari Tsukishiro really sent someone to expel him. Nanase admits she doesn’t know much about it, and Ayanokōji calmly concludes she isn’t lying and that she isn’t competent enough to be the White Room Assassin. As they talk, the mysterious figure from earlier, watching them from afar, is finally revealed to be Ichika Amasawa, who steps out and shows herself directly to both of them.

If this feels confusing, Episode 12 already explains how it got here.

Ichika Reveals Herself to Ayanokōji and Nanase

Ichika wants to talk to Ayanokōji, but Nanase interrupts, saying she saw a girl watching them earlier and followed her. She didn’t manage to catch up, but she got a glimpse of the figure, and it looked like Ichika. This also ties into Nanase’s earlier suspicion that Ichika might be involved in Kyōgo Komiya and Minori Kinoshita being pushed off the cliff. Ichika doesn’t bother properly denying it. Instead, she turns it back on Nanase, asking what she would even do if it really was her. It doesn’t confirm anything, but it also doesn’t clear her name.

Nanase then brings up the GPS tracker issue, questioning why Ichika’s location never showed up. Ayanokōji steps in and explains that it’s possible to hide your presence simply by damaging the watch. Ichika then indirectly supports this idea, hinting that Nanase already understands what that means, suggesting the watch could’ve been broken on purpose. However, she never actually shows any proof that her own watch is damaged or broken. Still, she never directly admits anything, leaving it implied rather than confirmed.

What makes this more suspicious is that in the previous episode, Honami Ichinose’s watch was also broken after supposedly hitting a stone. That detail now stands out more than before. It raises the question of whether this is just a coincidence or if there’s a pattern forming. Ichinose’s “perfect good girl” image starts to feel less stable in this context, especially with multiple broken watches appearing around key moments. Nothing confirms her involvement, but she now sits closer to the list of people who don’t fully add up.

After all of this, Ichika finally shifts the conversation back to her real goal, talking to Ayanokōji about the White Room. Nanase immediately tries to stop her, but Ichika shuts it down and insists it’s exactly because it involves the White Room that Nanase needs to step aside.

Ayanokōji talks with Ichika about the White Room

Kiyotaka Ayanokōji makes it clear that he won’t simply accept Ichika being from the White Room just because she knows about it. He questions what she would even gain by revealing his identity. Ichika responds that she only wanted him to know she is not his enemy. Ayanokōji immediately counters this, pointing out that a White Room student sent by Tsukishiro to eliminate or expel him cannot logically claim not to be an enemy.

Ichika then explains that even Tsukishiro didn’t anticipate that she would develop admiration for Ayanokōji. Ayanokōji questions why she didn’t reveal this from the beginning after arriving at the school. Ichika Amasawa replies that even if she admired him, she had never actually met him before, so she needed time to observe him properly and confirm her feelings. She also admits she is not good at making friends, though she claims her communication skills are not as lacking as Ayanokōji’s, pointing out that different classes are being trained differently, including those a year below him who are already learning basic conversational skills. She adds that Ayanokōji’s class is focused on extreme individualism, which has already crushed most of its members.

Ayanokōji says he believes her story, but still doesn’t understand why she chose to reveal herself now.

If that’s true, does that mean there’s no longer anyone left who can carry out Tsukishiro’s plan to expel Ayanokōji? Or is it possible that another White Room student has already been sent against him? And if so, who could that be?

Day 8 Begins: Ayanokōji and Horikita Reunite

On Day 8, at Area F7, Kiyotaka Ayanokōji and Suzune Horikita meet again for the first time since the start of the test and casually check in on how things are going. Ayanokōji brings up Satsuki Shinohara’s situation, and Suzune confirms she’s already heard about it. She also notes that their group is currently ranked seventh from the bottom and warns that if she can’t find a better option, she will take action herself.

Suzune then brings up the idea of having more resources like transceivers and asks whether they could get more if they trusted each other more. Ayanokōji responds that while it sounds useful, it could also end up being a waste of resources and doesn’t necessarily guarantee better results.

Day 9 Begins: Ayanokōji and Ibuki Exchange Water for Food

On Day 9, Ayanokōji is walking alone and preparing to set up his tent when he notices another tent already placed in the area. He calls out to check if anyone is inside and whether it’s fine to set up beside it, but there’s no response, so he proceeds to pitch his tent anyway. After some time, Mio Ibuki arrives at the spot.

Later, Ayanokōji enters her tent to talk, and upon observing her condition, he immediately notices clear signs of dehydration, including:

  • racing pulse
  • Lips are parched
  • overall weakened state

From this, he confirms she is not in good condition. He then proposes a simple trade: two bottles of water in exchange for half of her food supply, and Ibuki agrees to the deal.

Day 10 Begins: Fūka Kiryūin’s Sudden Rise Surprises Ayanokōji

On Day 10, in Area E4 near the mountain path, Ayanokōji encounters Fūka Kiryūin. They exchange casual conversation, with Ayanokōji pointing out that despite her earlier claim of not being interested in the top 10, she has suddenly climbed to 9th place. Fūka responds playfully by jumping toward him, saying the island exam has been far more entertaining than she expected, and she intends to keep her current pace going a bit longer.

When Ayanokōji asks if she’s aiming for first place, Fūka explains that the top three positions are already shaping up to be a “bloodbath,” hinting at major internal conflict among the strongest competitors. She adds that she might seriously consider pushing higher only if Nagumo or Koenji starts to fall, noting that Nagumo would never allow Koenji’s dominance to go unchecked. Fūka then asks Ayanokōji if he plans to aim for the top spot, but he simply replies that it’s unlikely he’ll even break into the top 10.

Ayanokōji helps Chihiro Shiranami reunite with her group and contacts Sakayanagi

Later that night, Ayanokōji comes across Chihiro Shiranami wandering alone in the dark, visibly scared and lost after being separated from her teammates, Yume Kobashi and Shigeru Takemoto. Seeing the situation, Ayanokōji decides to step in and help. Using his points, he activates the GPS search to trace their location and calculate their distance and direction. After some time, they manage to locate the missing pair, and the three are finally reunited.

Once the group is back together, Ayanokōji asks Shigeru Takemoto if they happen to have a transceiver. Shortly after, he uses it to contact someone, revealing that he is speaking with Arisu Sakayanagi. He tells her that he would like to ask a favor, and Sakayanagi responds that she is willing to return the favor for the classmate he previously helped.

But what exactly is Ayanokōji’s favor going to be in return?

Final Thoughts

Episode 13 feels like the island test is finally starting to tighten up as it gets closer to the end. Things that looked separate before are now starting to overlap, and it’s getting harder to ignore how connected everything actually is. Ayanokōji is still right in the middle of it, not really leading anything openly, but always showing up at the exact moments where things start to shift.

Key Moments in This Episode:

  • Ichika Amasawa finally reveals that she’s from the White Room
  • Broken watch detail connects Ichika and Ichinose under unclear circumstances
  • Ayanokōji and Ichika discuss admiration vs enemy status in the White Room context
  • Fūka Kiryūin reveals her rise in rankings and hints at top-tier conflict
  • Ayanokōji contacted Sakayanagi through the transceiver and requested a favor

Across the island, different students continue moving in separate directions, but the way their actions overlap makes it clear that nothing is happening in isolation anymore. Whether it’s Ichika’s unclear motives, Ichinose’s suspicious timing, or Sakayanagi’s involvement through Ayanokōji’s request, every thread seems to be connecting back into the same hidden conflict.

Even so, no single truth is confirmed. Everything remains partial, implied, and open-ended, making it harder to tell what is real and what is being deliberately hidden.

Will Episode 14 finally start exposing who is really pulling the strings behind the island test as everything gets closer to its final phase? Is Honami Ichinose actually connected to the cliff incident, or is she just getting caught in the middle of misunderstandings? Are there more than one White Room student targeting Ayanokōji, or is it all part of a single plan? And as the rankings tighten, who will actually secure the final top 3 spots in the island test?
